With what's been happening now, We've somehow ended up with Basco's memories only being before he betrayed Marvelous. At first I was watching for safety purposes.

Marvelous would rather he was dead. Point blank. I don't blame him.

I can understand that perspective.

In his memories, he hasn't betrayed Marvelous yet. He gets more annoyed at Marvelous' hate of him than anything else.

Time theory says no. Basco has to do what he's done to my friends. To other teams. To you.

[pause, because I am quite, quite sure he's hurt you at various times]

But it sounds like where you are tosses time theory out the window. And if there's any chance...

In that place you can receive memories of what happens in your future. A way of moving forward or something. Eventually he'll become that person. It wont matter what I do.

[sighs slowly] He will become that person, and I will hate him again.

And Joe. What you do always matters.

Well, it's true. Your actions always matter.

Joe... if he's hurt you, you shouldn't trust him, obviously. If he did it in the past or the future. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

I don't trust him. I know that he can't be trusted no matter what. I don't know how to try, or what to do for a person like him.

[pulling a knee to his chest and resting an arm on it]

I don't know if this is useful at all.

Towards the end, with us, Kemp seemed to change back. He wanted our help. He wanted us to save him from Bias.

We all knew it might be a trick, but we went to help him, and he betrayed us. I won't say it was fun, but that -- that didn't take away from what we did, if that makes sense. It was still the right thing to do, and I'm still glad we did.
