In which Sky feels funny...

[For spd_red but anyone who wants to play with a loopy Sky is more then welcome. Also, feel free to change the setting if you like.]

Looking back on the fight, Sky didn't remember getting hit with anything. Sure, he got some of the alien's weird smelling smoke to the face but he thought his shields had blocked most of it to the point that he hadn't even worried.

And even later, he still didn't think anything was wrong. In fact...he felt pretty darn good. He felt loose and relaxed and he couldn't wipe the happy smile off his face.

That should have been anyone's first clue that something was wrong.

The second was the fact that he was sitting in the common room, attempting to have pleasant conversations with everyone in the room. At least those who would talk to the Blue Ranger who usually only talked to his teammates. And was still beaming.

Okay. [puts his hands in his lap, oddly subdued and submissive as he watches Jack with wide eyes.]

[dammit, I don't want you to be upset]

Now. Two marshmallow pizzas?

[Still subdued but more of the life is back now that food was mentioned. He was hungry and he did want his 'date' with Jack.]

[oh gdi that's too sweet]

[Sky, you're killing me]

[gets pizzas plus two sodas, plonks 'em on table]

Over here okay?

[spd_blue]

Whatever you want, Jack.

[His smile was slowly returning as he moved to sit at the table with Jack, not even complaining about the soda over his usual water or juice.]

[looking suspiciously at the pizza]

Just want you to be happy, Sky.

[spd_blue]

I am happy. [ said with unusual patience for Sky as he smiled fondly at Jack] I'm happy here with you.

[then he tucked into his pizza with relish, marshmallows and all.]

Sweet and salty. I think I like it.

[Then he plucked a marshmallow off a slice and threw it at Jack with a sly grin.]

[sticks in the middle of my forehead until I pluck it off and stare at it, my own grin growing slowly]

Oh, you did not just do that.

[return fire!]

I think I did. [said with a sly grin before throwing another marshmallow while ducking the first.]

[spd_red]

[said with gleeful affection] Asshole!

[ducking behind a chair]

[Sky took cover under the desk]

[lobbing a piece of garlic bread over the desk]

Yeah, pretty much!

[retaliates with a barrage of marshmallows]

[notices Jack seems a bit stunned]

hey you okay over there?

[Frowns and comes out from under the desk.]

You don't sound fine.

[burying my face in my hands]

Just a headache.

[Moves over to sit beside him.]

Maybe you should lay down.

[tossing up, if I say my head's fine then I look like I was lying, and I actually do have a headache, but I don't want you worrying about me]

[frowns and helps Jack over to the bed.]
