In which Sky feels funny...
[For
spd_red but anyone who wants to play with a loopy Sky is more then welcome. Also, feel free to change the setting if you like.]
Looking back on the fight, Sky didn't remember getting hit with anything. Sure, he got some of the alien's weird smelling smoke to the face but he thought his shields had blocked most of it to the point that he hadn't even worried.
And even later, he still didn't think anything was wrong. In fact...he felt pretty darn good. He felt loose and relaxed and he couldn't wipe the happy smile off his face.
That should have been anyone's first clue that something was wrong.
The second was the fact that he was sitting in the common room, attempting to have pleasant conversations with everyone in the room. At least those who would talk to the Blue Ranger who usually only talked to his teammates. And was still beaming.

[notices Jack seems a bit stunned]
hey you okay over there?
no subject
I'm fine!
no subject
You don't sound fine.
no subject
Just a headache.
no subject
Maybe you should lay down.
no subject
Maybe.
no subject
You should have said something sooner.
no subject
[sighing, taking the excuse to lean on you a little]
no subject
[Holds close, in case Jack is being a typical Red and is using headache to describe worse.]
no subject
[oh, I'm an asshole, but I'm enjoying you holding me when it's not about you doing it because you're high]
no subject
Can I get you anything?
no subject
Maybe some water? But I'm okay, really, Sky. It's just a headache.
[you're confuuusing me]

[He got up and went over to the bathroom. The replicator was good but sometimes, water from the tap was better.]
no subject
[and it's only getting worse; I can't believe this]
Thanks, Sky.

Here. Do you want me to go? Let you get some rest?
no subject
[alarmed, grabbing your wrist]
No! No, don't go.
no subject
Okay, okay. I'm staying.

Sky...?

I like you this way. But I like you as you are normally, too, you know that, right?
no subject
I'm glad to hear that, Jack. What brought this on?
no subject
I'm worried about you. And I don't want you to feel like shit when you're over this, but I'm also worried we're way past that point.
no subject
Past what point? I'm honored you're concerned but I'm not sure I understand.
