Mushverse- Enter the SPD boys [open to all]

After the incident with being drugged by an alien that caused Sky to act very out of character, he'd been taking every opportunity to be off base. It was all he could to sleep in the same room as Bridge without hurting them both with his nerves and overall discomfort. It's not that he hadn't meant any of the things he'd said while under the influence...it's that he had, very much so, and now didn't know how to deal with the consequences. Especially when it came to Bridge and Jack.

So when Cruger offered up this mission to check out this possible doorway to another dimension, Sky jumped on it. Anything to get away from overly concerned team members and feelings he didn't want to deal with.

As he stepped of the train, he was a bit unsettled to realize he'd stepped out of a what looked like a Japanese Hallmark store. Whatever joke the universe was playing, Sky really didn't think it was funny. But he pushed it out his mind, straightened his blue SPD uniform and set out to investigate.

I'm up a tree, attempting to eat my damn lunch, but there's a guy in blue walking along the path below me.

I sigh, and drop down in front of him. "You need to be careful around here," I tell him bluntly, then I take a bite of the carrot in my hand and crunch it loudly.

Sky blinked and took a step back into a ready position when someone dropped down in front of him, but instantly relaxed when he didn't immediately sense a threat. He pulled out his morpher from his belt and opened it so it could be used as a translator, thankfully catching must of what the guy said.

"More careful?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Of what exactly?"

The guy takes out a device from his belt, speaks into it in English, then I hear words in Japanese. My eyebrows shoot up and I crunch noisily on my carrot.

"Crazyass energy readings," I say cheerfully. "You really should stay away. I'm -- my team and I are handling it. You could get BLOWN UP."

[spd_blue]

The emphasis on 'blown up' only got raised eyebrows from Sky.

"The energy readings are why I'm here. We could read them all the way in New Tech City so SPD sent me to investigate." He said this like it was supposed to mean something to the other.

Huh, wonder where this guy's from. He looks a little uptight.

I like uptight, sometimes. More fun to poke at.

"Well, whoever this SPD is, you should tell him or her to keep you out of this," I say decisively. "The Boukengers will handle it!"

[spd_blue]

There's uptight...and then there is Sky.

Sky is almost wondering the same thing. Except he is wondering if this guy is for real or just crazy. Considering the people he works with on a daily basis...it could be either.

"SPD isn't keeping out of this. It's our duty to keep this planet safe." He was vague, since with the dimensional rifts, he didn't want to give out too much information. "That's why they sent an SPD Power Ranger to investigate."

I pfft at him cheerfully enough. "It's the Boukengers' duty to find Precious," I rattle off dutifully. I'm still getting adjusted to that whole treasure hunting thing. I prefer hunting Ashu. "We'll take care of it. Really."

[spd_blue]

"Boukengers?" Sky asked, completely disregarding what the guy had said about taking care of it. If Sky trusted other people to take care of things, nothing would get done.

Except his team of course but that was another story.

He didn't recognize the name and he'd about memorized SPD's database on friendly organizations operating on Earth. "Who are the Boukengers? You?"

Well well, looks like Eiji's found someone to poke at.

Too bad I don't have my laptop with me or I'd be running recognition systems on that uniform he's wearing because I don't recognise it at all.

I think this guy's innocent enough. But I don't draw attention to Souta -- Blue's presence overlooking us, anyway, just in case.

I flip my accellular with my thumb, running it over the other guy just in case.
