He wasn't going to pace. He was going to wait patiently for Tatsuya to arrive, not give in to nerves before he'd even got there. So what if they had a lot to talk about, that was no reason to be nervous.

Yeah, right. They had over ten years worth of stuff to catch up on and it wasn't exactly all sunshine and rainbows.

He glanced down at his watch and sighed. Come on, Tatsuya.

Katsumi looked up at the ceiling in theatrical despair. "Is there no end to his delusions?"

He finished his selections and looked over at Tatsuya. "I'm done, stop whining already."

"You're such a drama queen!" Tatsuya stuck his tongue out at Katsumi and pressed to start the game.

Katsumi's jaw dropped in pure outrage. "I am not."

Before he could demand that Tatsuya take that back right the hell now, Tatsuya hit start and he had to drop it to focus on the game.

Tatsuya hammered away at the controls. He cheered loudly whenever his score raised above Katsumi's and groaned if it dropped; with no apparent regard to the volume or the presence of others.

Why was Tatsuya the older twin? Katsumi groaned to himself as his brother cheered as his score went up again. That was just wrong on so many levels.

He redoubled his efforts and smirked, just a little, as his score went back over Tatsuya's. As it should be.

Tatsuya wailed loudly and hit the buttons with even more vigour in an effort to close the gap, "ugh, Katsumi-chan!"

"Quit it with the Katsumi-chan already!" Katsumi snapped, taking his attention briefly off the game to glare at Tatsuya.

Tatsuya took advantage of this unexpected distraction to get his score back up where he wanted it, and smirked across at Katsumi, "you should pay more attention!"

"That is cheating," Katsumi replied loftily, tone belied by how hard he was slamming the controls.

"It's not cheating! YOU weren't looking!" Tatsuya giggled to himself as his score continued to rise.

Katsumi huffed and decided to ignore the argument as not worth it. At least his score was rising as well, that was something.

Tatsuya was so busy with the controls now that he wasn't looking at what Katsumi was doing, instead focusing all his attention on beating his beleaguered little brother.

He wasn't losing. No way was he losing to Tatsuya, he'd never hear the end of it.

"Have I won yet?" Tatsuya called out, and slammed on the buttons yet again.

"No."

Come on, come on, come on... He grinned as his score edged closer to Tatsuya's. That was more like it.

Tatsuya squealed and pounded the keys some more. His arms now felt like they were about to fall off and he actually had sweat breaking out on his forehead.

Katsumi ignored the ridiculous noises coming out of Tatsuya's mouth, his focus narrowing to the challenge in front of him.

"Come on come ON!" Tatsuya yanked on the joystick so hard it broke off in his hand. He threw it down to the floor and resumed hitting the buttons at full force.

...The hell? Katsumi broke off and stared first at Tatsuya, then at the joystick now discarded on the floor, not even caring that he was ceding ground.

"Idiot, you broke the game."

"No time for that!" Tatsuya cried. He took advantage of the break in his brother's concentration to do his best to speed ahead of Katsumi.

"You're going to have to pay for that, you know," Katsumi hissed, giving the game up as lost. He didn't need to win so badly he'd break the game even further.

Tatsuya cheered as his score zoomed ahead and beat Katsumi. He turned to his brother, beaming all over his face, "don't feel bad! We can play again!"

Katsumi pinched the bridge of his nose and pointed at the joystick on the floor. "So you can break more of it off? No thanks."

He was a little surprised they didn't have staff approaching them over this yet.

Tatsuya glanced down at the floor, and gulped, "Huh. When did that happen?" He looked warily over his shoulder as if (rightfully) expecting to be thrown out of the arcade.

"You didn't even notice?" Katsumi demanded. How could you not notice something like that?
