The Metaroids are getting a bit more proactive, I'm finding, which I suppose would have been very well appreciated a few weeks or even months ago, but now is usually frustrating if not outright ridiculous. I make the damned things and I'm still not entirely sure what some of them do.

Like this one. I assume it will wreak havoc just like they all do, they're generally pretty good at that, and so I let it go on and spend my time focused on driving Red Buster to exhaustion. This is my fun, and Dieu soit maudit, I'm going to have it.

Up until our fight skirts too close to the Metaroid as it finishes whatever it's counting down towards, and I get caught in a blast that is less explosive and dangerous and more lightly scented and disorientating.
