for Enter
Fighting, fighting, always fighting.
I toss myself backwards over a box, desperately evading Enter's cables. He's toying with me, I'm almost certain of it. I don't know where the others are. I don't know what his Metaroid's doing, though I can hear it sounding off some kind of countdown. If I look away just now, Enter'll take my head off.

Like this one. I assume it will wreak havoc just like they all do, they're generally pretty good at that, and so I let it go on and spend my time focused on driving Red Buster to exhaustion. This is my fun, and Dieu soit maudit, I'm going to have it.
Up until our fight skirts too close to the Metaroid as it finishes whatever it's counting down towards, and I get caught in a blast that is less explosive and dangerous and more lightly scented and disorientating.
Even to me.
And Hiromu, I assume.
Oh, I think he's going to fall over.

Oh. Helmet's gone. Doesn't seem to matter, for some reason. All that matters is the ground rushing up towards my face.

I catch him with my arms, then, and haul him back up to his feet. "Are you alright, amour?"

Except -- "Your fingers!" I exclaim, grabbing his hand. "Are you all right?"
no subject
His eyes are so nice to look into. "What's a little heat between... friends?"
no subject
"Perfectly acceptable?" I answer hoarsely, realising too late that it's a rhetorical question. I'm always getting thwacked for answering those.
no subject
It is, dare I say, séduisant.
I can't stop looking at his face, though I can hear there's other things going on around us, I couldn't care less. Right now all that matters is that he stays, right where he is.
With me.

I don't want to. He has the most amazing eyes, and his jawline... I want to feather tiny kisses along it, and run my fingers through his hair, and love him as he deserves to be loved.

"Come on, we're sitting ducks here." I bring my fingers down along his cheek and curl them under his chin, tilting his head back to meet his eyes. It's a job, not getting distracted by his lips. "Let's go. Lead the way, hero."
no subject
But we're not safe.
I disengage with absolute reluctance, and take his hand gently in mine. "Perhaps this way? The park is awfully nice at this time of year."
I -- I'm sure there are people who want to attack us, but they're people who I like? Or people who want to attack me but they're people he likes? It suddenly doesn't seem as important as just going somewhere with this man I love.
no subject
I disguise my pout as best I can and give his hand a squeeze. "I love the park." I could care less about everyone else around us. I let him lead the way and follow in his wake. The park is lovely this time of year, but then, anything would be nice as long as he's there with me.
no subject
I grin over my shoulder at him. "It's so pretty. But I'm sure I won't be able to look at it very much." I'll be too busy staring at him.
no subject
The rest of the walk is precisely what I wanted, peaceful, hand in hand with mon amour.
The park is wonderful, calm and beautiful, but I only have eyes for him.
I pull him back beneath the shade of a cherry tree, and it's so stereotypical it's almost farcical, but I don't care.
"Viens ici," I purr, wrapping my hands around his wrists and pulling him close, tipping my head down and catching his mouth in mine.
no subject
...oh. Yes, yes, that's nice. More of that.
I disentangle a hand from his and slide it around the back of his neck, pulling him closer.
no subject
RedBuster, yes, clearly RedBuster. I'd recognize him anywhere.
But that simply can't be Enter with him. Not... not leaning against a tree with arms entangled and lips lock.
Is this was nausea feels like?
I raise Gog up and take aim at a branch just above their head, ready to fire a warning shot.
no subject
"Escape!" I point my weapon straight at her. Whatever she's aiming at, it's likely to be another Buster or a civilian, and I can't let her do that.
no subject
I almost don't even bother pulling away when I hear a shot being fired, simply slipping an arm around his waist and neatly pivoting him away from where a branch nearly falls on his head. I'm a bit too preoccupied with the shape of his jaw beneath my mouth.
Ah, but then we're interrupted. Typical. And not just by my meddling counterpart, damn her, but by his mother hen, excuse me, worrywart.
I look over his shoulder, fingering Escape as the bigger threat and pinning her with a glare. "Do you mind?"
no subject
...oh. Them. "What?" I ask impatiently. "We're busy."
no subject
I toss my head in BlueBuster's direction, though I keep my eyes on the pair under the tree. "You should keep a better leash on your pet, BlueBuster."
no subject
I won't try to physically pull him away from Enter unless I really have to. It might require me to overheat and I don't want to have to do that.
no subject
"He's not the enemy." I inform her calmly. "And he certainly doesn't belong to him." I shoot a disparaging glance at Blue Buster and scoff. Surely there's no threat there.
no subject
Oh! "Maybe you two should try it!"
no subject
I smack Enter's cable away with Gog, then look over at BlueBuster, narrowing my gaze. "This has to be your doing. Some rewiring of Enter's programming. Some trick you and RedBuster are playing."
no subject
I glower over at Hiromu, because there's no way I'm doing anything of the sort with Escape. I still have no idea what happened here but whatever it is, he's walked right into it.
