Welcome to the Dinohouse Christmas "meme"! This is going to work a bit differently from most memes, but still free free to do what you want here!

The idea:
Following this post I will be making an assortment of Universe/Location "thread" comments. These will define the specific scene and universe being worked in. Comments by applicable characters will follow under that comment.

Example:
Mushverse; Shiba Mansion; open to Shinkengers

Comments following that would all be set in the Mushverse universe, be by any Shinkengers that want to participate, and take place at the Shiba Mansion Christmas party. Think of it sort of like every "top level" comment is its own post to the community.

Following that example, if your desired AU/Canon/etc isn't there, feel free to make a "thread" for it! Say there's already a Mushverse Go-busters "thread", and you want to do something in Aibouverse, or something more canon, maybe just between two characters? Make one!

Comments following the "thread" headings can be group setting free for all, or between individuals. Say it's a canon GokaiGalleon party, and Gai and Luka want to go off alone, or are on their way to the Galleon together? Their thread can be a separate second level comment thread beneath the main Canon Gokaiger thread.

I know that's a lot of information/qualifiers, but don't let it make you nervous to post, "rules" are fluid, and mainly set for added organization.

"Merry Christmas, Mister Myers!" Bridge grinned at his sometimes surrogate half-uncle thing who he hadn't seen in years. "Though I'm sure you remember that I'm Jewish and don't generally celebrate Christmas, everyone else on the team pretty much does and this year we were lucky enough that Chanukah and Christmas aren't overlapping so I didn't have to bring a menorah!"

And then he sharply elbows Jack in the arm. Because someone has to keep them in check.

"Merry Christmas, Sky." Eric held out his hand to Sky, who took it, before shaking it then pulling the Blue SPD Ranger into a hugged. Oh how he'd missed this kid.

When he pulled away, he immediately sought out Bridge, reaching out to lightly grip the Green Ranger's shoulder fondly. The kid was practically his other adopted kid so he knew better then to pull him in for a hug as well. "When you get in, check the windows anyway." Of course he'd known Bridge was Jewish and even though Chanukah was earlier, a lighted menorah still decorated a window just for him. "It's very good to see you Bridge. I'm glad you came."

Then, the Quantum Ranger finally turned his attention to the smart ass who was the Red Ranger. He should have known. "Sky knows better. Now, if you heard it from Crugar, then I'd believe it." There was no love lost between Eric and the Commander of SPD. "You must be Jack. I see Red Rangers are still cocky little shits." If one knew Eric, they would know there was no genuine malice in his tone, just his own brand of snarky sarcasm.

Sky didn't have to worry, he knew Bridge would take care of Jack while he hugged his Uncle. Of course, that didn't mean he wasn't going to make Jack pay for that later.

Of course, he knew his Uncle could hold his own, so he just shared a smirk with Bridge as Eric snarked back. "Sorry uncle, we haven't quite trained some manners into him yet."

Jack gave Bridge a mock wounded look, rubbing his arm, then grinned back at Eric.

All right. So sometimes he liked to test people himself. Though it'd been partly that, partly just because he'd felt like being a 'cocky little shit'.

Test passed. Jack had a suspicion he was going to like this Eric.

"Sky and Bridge have been trying for months," Jack said cheerfully. "It's an uphill battle. It's good to meet you, sir."
