I visit Jirou.

This is normal. I visit him often. I bring new flowers for his bedside like always. I hold his hand in mine with my thumb brushing at his knuckles like always.

I speak to him softly. I promise him I'll save him. Like always.

My switch feels heavy. I can feel the shape of it inside my inner coat pocket.

I tell him I'm going to become Aries. For him.

But first I have to make sure Meteor is safe in good hands. I need to make sure I have an out if I go too far, even if that out is destruction.

I put the Meteor driver and switch in a case and give the case to Tomoko's mother for her. If anyone deserves to watch over a Kamen Rider, it's Tomoko. And I know she will. She'll do what's right.

The parents are finally in bed and I sigh in relief as I hear the light get switched off. It's about time, I thought they were never coming up. I just need to wait a bit now, give them time to go to sleep before I do this. Eventually though, I get out of bed and make my way downstairs, careful to avoid the creaky stairs.

I should probably tell them I'm working with Gaia and EYES now, but they'd just try to talk me out of it and I need to do this, for any number of reasons; getting paid is only one of them. I rummage inside my bag and pull out the envelope before heading into the kitchen. That's where Megumi keeps her purse and she does the groceries so she gets more. There's a lot of us to feed, after all, and I know she worries about it, even if she won't admit it in front of us. I split the rest of the wages between Jou and Yuusuke before ripping up the envelope and dropping it in the bin.

There. All sorted for the week. I dust my hands off in satisfaction and head back to bed.

I grin, as I look over my shoulder to the unconscious form of their son. I have Jinmers with me as well. I have yet to find Mazenda, Obler, Ashura, or the great Bias-sama. But I will prevail.

I will hurt the Livemen.

I will have my vengeance.
