Basco's expression is warm, cheerfully patient while Joe embraces Marvelous, as though he's watching an interaction between pets of whom he's especially fond. His expression warms further when Joe turns the same reassuring look on him, but it freezes and falls when Joe shifts the topic onto his recently-deceased minion.
