I grimace, and squeeze his hand gently. "I know you're an Avatar. But you're still human. Isn't the human mind built to need that shut down period now and then?"
I'm not voicing it as a criticism, as a way to try to make him be okay about shut down periods. I'm just concerned. I've seen him on sleep deprivation. It's not pretty. No one should have to go through that.
