Not good. Really not good.

For one of the first times since I joined this family, we didn't have a family dinner last night, which left me with no real time to corner either Kazari or Jou alone and talk to either of them about... everything, really.

I get to school early and head immediately for Rabbit Hutch, the Switch Kijima gave me in hand. I'm obviously not going to give it back to him, I'm fully intending to give it to the Club and hope that Kengo and Ryuusei can get some kind of good use out of it.

The question is, how's Kijima going to react if I never return it and it never ends up used?

I'm working on my science assignment and wearing my special comet hat when Joe-kun appears.

"Hi!" I wave happily at him. He's so *cute*.

[gibken]

It's not as empty as it was the other day.

"Hi, Yuuki-chan." I raise one hand to wave. "Anyone else around?"

[spacenerd]

"There are a few people around here somewhere, Joe-kun," I say happily. "Is everything all right? Do you want to borrow my hat?"

It always makes me feel happier to wear the hat.

[gibken]

"Ah." I bow awkwardly before sitting down at the table and setting the Switch down on the table. "I meant you no disrespect, Yuuki-chan. You could probably help me too." I push the Switch across the table towards her. "I got this from Kijima."

[spacenerd]

"Too?!" I repeat. So he only wanted one of the others to help, but I'll do?!

Ah. But it's a Switch. I pick it up, then thwap him absently on the back of the head as I move towards the main computer. "Why'd he give it to you?"

[gibken]

I wrinkle my nose up when she smacks me on the back of the head, then get up and follow her towards the computer. "I really didn't mean it like that, Yuuki-chan. I meant the entire club would be useful in this situation."

I sigh and lean against the wall beside the computer. "I made him laugh?"

[spacenerd]

I scowl up at him, then let it turn into a grin. I squeeze his hand while the computer works. "That's okay, Joe-kun."

He's really cute when he's embarrassed.

"How'd you do that?"

Oh, this is fascinating. I wish Kengo could be here to go through it with me.

[gibken]

I blush a little when she touches my hand, looking away and clearing my throat.

"I'm not even sure." I admit.

I move away from her, but mostly so I have room to pace. "He said my brother is one of the Horoscopes."

[spacenerd]

HE'S SCARED OF GIRLS. I'LL HAVE TO DO THAT MORE OFTEN.

I turn, gasping. "Nooooo. Which brother? And which Horoscope?"

[gibken]

I keep pacing, mainly because I've got way too much nervous energy and I'm not sure what to do with it. I wish JK were here.

"Kazari." I elaborate, forgetting that she wasn't here for that conversation. I'm a little surprised that word hadn't spread throughout the club, but that's Gentarou for you. "The one that's kind of..." I make a claw with one hand and snarl a bit. "Leo, according to Kijima." It does fit.

[spacenerd]

"The kitty!" I say promptly. I like both his brothers just fine, but... "He's the one I gave a ball of wool to."

I peer up at his face. "Are you okay?"

[gibken]

That startles a smile out of me. Well, that explains that. I had figured Kazari had inexplicably taken up knitting. "Yeah, the kitty." I sigh and look down at her in turn, shrugging. "I'm alright. Stressed, you know. Worried about him, even if he is new to the family."

[spacenerd]

"I'm trying to make a scarf, and he seemed to like that colour," I say comfortably. "He's nice. But yes, Joe-kun, you should be worried about him! Switches never do good things to people!"

Ooh, this Switch is *interesting*.

[gibken]

"Good to know he's making friends, I guess." I can't imagine Kazari making friends, but if anyone could describe him as 'nice', it would be Yuuki.

"Learning anything interesting?"
