I know. I know Dr.K said she was going to try and send us back on that crazy train that Scott took to whatever weird universe he went to help.

But I mean...

When he said he'd met Samurai....

Now, I know a little Japanese. You pick up some here and there in the biz. And no, I do not actually have a collection of questionable animated films stashed under my bed back at The Garage. I just. Well, in the Mob you pick up a few things.

Though I don't see how threatening to whack a guy in Japanese is going to help my situation at all.

So I fumble around, hoping against hope someone knows some English. Or I run into some other members of my team. That would be the ideal situation. I wonder where they all got off to? I don't seem to remember much between stepping off that weird train (that girl with the pink streak in her hair was really cute. Funny coffee though. Bleh) and where I've found myself now.

I wish Dillon were here. I don't think he knows any Japanese, but he can usually stop me from making a complete fool of myself.

But it wasn't Dillon. It was the good ole reliable Blue Ranger. He caught sight of Scott and jogged up to him.

"Oi, Scott. This the place ye found yerself last time?" He asked as he looked around. It looked oddly...ordinary.

"Flynn," I say in welcome, moving to clap him on the shoulder. "Nah, this is quite different. I don't know what the hell's going on. But we'll figure it out."

"Wonder what happened then." Flynn said with a sigh, though he returned the clap with one to Scott's back and a relieved smile. If he was going to be stuck with anyone, Scott would be a top choice.

Now his grin was more genuine. "Oh aye. I've no doubt that we will."

"It's good being able to breathe the air properly this time," I agree. "Couldn't drop morph when I met the Samurai Rangers. You caught sight of any of the others, yet?"

"Any time ye can breathe fresh air is a good thing. " Flynn said by way of agreement before he shook his head. "No, I ain't seen a soul. So far I know Ziggy n' Dillon have come through, the twins as well. They mus' be around here somewhere."

"Be interesting to see what Doc K has in store for us here," I say with some relish. I like intel, I like knowing what I'm doing, I like having a plan. But I also like a challenge.

"Good. Hope the rest turn up sometime soon."

Flynn, on the other hand, wished they had more of a plan, period. He liked to know what he was doing before hand. Even when he got carried away, he always had some sort of plan in the back of his mind.

"Tenaya was right after me so we need ta keep a look out for her as well. Don't know 'bout Summer or the Doctor. Any idea what she wants us to do?"

I nod as we keep walking. I'm taking it all in, eyes barely touching on Flynn, but I'm extremely aware of him as a solid, reassuring presence by my side. "There's a buildup of power in the area. She had trouble getting decent readings. But there are a lot of people gathering, on both sides."

"Gathering? Gathering for wot I wonder?" Flynn wondered out loud as he looked around, comfortable in his position flanking Scott. "Aye, she was going on about some power but none of us could completely understand her. Something about the ranger energy that makes up our suits. I thought she just meant us and maybe those other ye met."
