The Hello meme!
How does it work? Quite simple actually!
1. Post with your muse with "Name|Fandom"
2. Say Hello to others.
3. No, really, just say hello. No prompts, no RNG, just say hi and start up a conversation and see where it goes! Don't know the person? Doesn't matter! Just say hello!
4. PROFIT!

Date: 2012-08-02 12:13 am (UTC)"Yes, research. I can't look up the files on you unless I have a keyword to use," I explain patiently. "I don't know who you are, so I will research you and find out. Then, we can have a conversation."
This really isn't complicated. I wish he'd stop being difficult.

Eyes wide as that sudden idea sparks my amusement, I step a bit closer, smiling wide and thin at him. "My initial intent was to ascertain your identity and then begin the social exchange which Shotarou tells me is called, 'making small talk.'
"However, you are turning out to be much more interesting than I'd anticipated!" I beam at him, certain he'll appreciate the compliment. "Who are you?"

Date: 2012-08-02 03:40 am (UTC)"What kind of being are you?" I ask, ignoring his question. I can figure out how much is safe to say once I can figure his type out.
[IT IS HILARIOUS HOW CLOSE TO CORRECT LEO IS, WHEN YOU BOIL IT ALL DOWN]
Date: 2012-08-08 05:39 am (UTC)"I am human," I inform my new acquaintance carefully. This is true, now. I clench one fist against my heart briefly, pausing in a moment of silence for my sister Wakana.
But she is always with me, so my moment does not require sadness, and I give Fudou Leo a tipped, curious expression along with my statement. (Strictly speaking, nothing requires the moment of silence of me, either. But I like to offer it, an active choice to atone for my past sin of non-decision.)
"What are the other options?" I ask, hoping to elicit further conversation. He's not uninteresting, but I'm still struggling a bit to remain focused on our conversation. It's moving so slowly, and with such small bytes of data exchanged. In this same time, I could have gone through at least two volumes in the Gaia Library, or one especially meaty one.
But Shotarou puts much value in human interaction, face-to-face. I make an effort to be friendly mainly for his sake, because it pleases him.
(Figured that it was the nearest analogue for Leo)
Date: 2012-08-09 02:09 am (UTC)He's not reacting like a creature of Makai. He's not acting precisely human, either, but most of them would identify themselves after I ask.
I don't know what he is. It's hard to have a conversation when the person asking is something unknown.
"You're clearly not what I thought you were." I'm sure I'm closed up, and there might be a spark of worry in my eyes. It's something a Horror might enjoy. He might not be one, and probably isn't. "If you were, you'd understand why I was asking."
That still doesn't tell me what he is. I find myself interested, and trying to figure out how to proceed.
