It had been a while since the RPM Rangers' arrival in Japan and Dillon still didn't have a clue what they were looking for. He knew Ziggy didn't either, despite his claiming otherwise, and he didn't believe anything Scott claimed to know on the matter. Flynn, Tenaya and the twins seemed more open about not having a clue, like him, or they were just better at hiding it. Whatever Dr K had sent them for, they hadn't found it yet.

Ditching the other Rangers, Dillon decided to strike out on his own for awhile. While he was much more used to being around friends now, he still relished being on his own on occasion. It was the lone wolf in him.

And it was because he was alone that he noticed the man having trouble talking to a local. The man was clearly not from here, being as tall if not taller then Dillon, and had the looks of an American poster boy. The uniform was not something he recognized but reminded him vaguely of the military who ran Corinth. It seemed like the man had a device that was supposed to act like a translator but it didn't seem to be helping him much.

Dillon waffled for a moment before giving a sigh and heading over. He might as well save the local the hassle of dealing with this guy. "Can I help you?" He asked the local in Japanese before turning a skeptical look to the annoyed looking Westerner. "You lost?" He asked, much less politely. SPD, said the other man's uniform, now that Dillon could see it up close. Yep, definitely not from around here.

[Simon wanted Dillon, and more Ranger action in Mushverse in general, so have Dillon with bonus Sky! Flynn can be around too, as I think those are the only three of mine introduced so far.]

Sousuke's beginning to think that maybe he missed too much while he was in England. For one thing, Hanto has somehow gotten... even less effective at fighting, which seems... illogical at best.

And then there's Gunpei, who is acting, if possible, even more weird.

He's a terrible leader. He should have made sure to see the whole group as soon as he got back. He was so distracted by Miu and Hiroto...

He shakes his head to clear it and dives even more ferociously into the attack. It's pretty greatly weakened by the attacks the others have managed to connect with. He calls his Road Saber and executes a pretty neat Saber Straight that leaves the monster little more than a pile of slime... Not like it was before, a pile of slime without consciousness.

With a little sigh, he takes his 'met off and trots over to Gunpei (surprisingly un-slimed) and Hanto (incredibly well slimed).

"Hey, you guys!"

Ziggy stumbles around after the monster is defeated, trying to wipe slime off his helmet for a good minute before he remembers he can just demorph and the slime should go with his self-assembling nanofiber. Poor Dr.K would have a mess on her hands, but...

He beams at Dillon first, then turns to greet Scott who is... not Scott. Unless Scott has suddenly become Japanese. With anime hair. (knowing Dr.k... No.).

"Um..." Ziggy nudges Dillon's arm. He then proceeds to fumble his way through saying 'hello' in very flawed Japanese. Complete with awkward bow.

Tall, Black and Glowery helps Jack shoot the damn monster, then another guy in red turns up. Looks like the same suit.

Jack and the others finish off the monster, and those guys take off their helmets. Huh. Must get messy, Jack thinks. Much easier to just take off the whole suit. Aaaand it looks like they don't know each other.

Interesting.

"Hey there," Jack says cheerfully, letting his own (horribly slimed) suit vanish.

There's a call from behind them. Another guy in red, taking off a helmet to reveal sproingy dark hair (Jack approves). He jogs up to Black and Green and says with a grin, "Dillon. Ziggy. Looks like I missed all the..."

His voice trails off as he looks at the other Red, the one whose hair is red and kinda shaped like a pineapple. "And I thought my team had some interesting complications," Jack says brightly, just for something to say.

When Ziggy was stumbling around in the wake of the monster's defeat, Dillon was immediately by his side. He didn't help get the slime off, but he was there just in case.

Something about the Series Operator Red that had joined the fight had seen off to Dillon and when the red took his helmet off, it only confirmed his feeling and his theory. All reds had stupid hair.

Dillon removes his helmet and gives Ziggy a look to let him handle this. "I don't think we are who you think we are." He said to the new red in Japanese. "And where did you get that..." Of course, that was the moment that Scott himself decided to show up. Morphed. Could someone have stolen and duplicated Dr. K's work?

"That's it. There are officially too many Reds here for me to know what the heck is going on." Pause. "And you all have stupid hair."

Right. Not Gunpei and Hanto. That makes... absolutely one hundred percent zero sense. Sousuke just kind of stares at the two foreigners wearing suits that should have held his friends. And then... more foreigners, one of whom is wearing his own suit, and this is just getting ridiculous.

"Hey!" He protests when the tall one that is not Gunpei insults his hair. He can't speak for the other two. "I can speak English, you know." Heavily accented, to be sure, and with a certain British inflection, but so be it. At least he can understand well enough, he never used to know even a word.

"Who are you?" He asks, pointing at the one dressed entirely too similarly to himself.

Speedor pops up and Sousuke lifts his Go-Phone so Speeder can participate. "Yeah!" Speedor demands. "That's our look!"

Ziggy hangs back a bit when everyone begins speaking, mostly demanding to know what the hell's going on. Which is valid, Ziggy also wonders what the hell is going on, but right now he's going to hang out near Dillon's elbow, and let him and Scott handle sorting out why there are suddenly two Series Reds.

Not!Scott pulls out his Cell Shift Morpher, and then a little animated creature pops out of it and starts yelling at Scott. Ziggy doesn't care about that part though.

He launches himself at not!Scott and flails at the tiny animated Eagle Racer. "I knew it! I knew they were eyes! Scott! Dillon, look! I was right! They're not optical field scanning whatever the heck Dr.K called them! They really are big googly anime eyes! And they can talk! Dillon!"

The guy in the red suit that Scott doesn't recognise hangs back, looking amused but also weary. Okay, fine, he's not a threat for the moment, ignore him.

"RPM Red," Scott answers the one with the suit just like his. His voice is tight, brisk. He's not about to open fire or anything stupid like that. This guy's done nothing to make it seem as if he's going to attack.

But he's not just a ranger from another team. He's wearing Scott's suit. So Scott stays in military mode for the moment. No need to give actual names.

...which, of course, Ziggy goes ahead and does instantly anyway.

Scott sighs.

"'Stupid hair'?" he murmurs to Dillon as he walks forward and gently prises Ziggy back from the new guy, just a step. No point in pissing him off, after all. But then he sees what's coming out of the new guy's morpher, and he stares.

He can't help the grin that comes over his face. "Well, look at you."

Dillon just half smirked at Scott about the stupid hair comment. He meant it and he knew he hadn't heard the last of it either. He loved getting under Scott's skin and he was more then happy to let Scott handle dealing with all of these new rangers. Let the Reds work it out among themselves.

But he did assist with Ziggy-wrangling. When Scott pried Ziggy away from the tiny talking car, he grabbed the back of Ziggy's jacket and pulled him to a bit safe distance. Safer for the taking car.

"I can see it. I'll let you be the one to tell Dr. K about it."

Sousuke very nearly wheels sharply back when the excitable not-Hanto almost touches Speedor. Speedor turns red (well, more red) and starts to steam, which doesn't really surprise Sousuke at all.

"Big googly anime eyes?" He echoes, admittedly a little perplexed.

Not-himself walks up then and Speedor gives him a once over. Guy has a pretty dorky little tone of voice going on, Sousuke thinks.

"You don't have to talk down to him." He informs him a bit sourly. "He's not a toy or a child or something."

"But, But Scott! Dillon!" Ziggy whines a bit before finally settling next to Dillon. He readjusts his jacket, huffing dejectedly as he smooths the front down a bit.

He actually refrains from commenting aloud about how they haven't heard from Dr.K since she stuck them on that weird train with the crazy coffee lady. It's upsetting enough as it is, all unspoken worry, and all.

There are so many people gathered here at the moment. Or maybe it just seems like a lot since most of them are Reds. Not that Ziggy has a problem with Scott, but still. Reds were the leaders, right?

Plus they're still in unfamiliar territory, and so maybe Ziggy is a little nervous. Give him a break.

"Ours don't talk." Ziggy finally supplies, when the one with the little anime Eagle Racer defends his, um... anime Eagle Racer.

"Obey your parents," Scott says wryly to Ziggy, still eyerolling internally from Dillon's hair comment. They couldn't all be tousled lone wolves.

For a lone wolf, Dillon needed people more than anyone Scott'd ever met in his life.

"I don't mean to talk down to him," Scott says to other him, mostly managing to control his exasperation. "What's his name? What's your name?" he addresses the two of them in turn, not sure about the protocol.

"Yes, listen to your mother." Dillon said with a snark filled smirk, happily casting Scott as the mother in that little analogy. But he did keep his hand on Ziggy's back, sensing the other's nerves.

It wasn't so much that Dillon needed people. He just didn't hate people like people seemed to think he did. He liked people well enough, when they didn't get on his nerves or pry into his business.

"Yeah, ours don't do much except get big and form megazords."

"Yours?" Sousuke repeats, sure he must be disbelieving. If they had Engine partners, fine, that might make sense, but they're talking about the Engines like they were just typical machines.

"His name is Speedor." He answered gruffly, then struck a pose. "And I'm Esumi Sousuke. Nice to meet you, I guess."

"We're from a different universe... dimension... thing!" Ziggy blurts out, by way of explaining why they have the similar machines.

They're sort of supposed to keep that a secret, but this guy is obviously a hero and one sort of vaguely similar to them, so maybe they would get further with this conversation if they were just honest about things.

"And I'm... I'm Ziggy. Ziggy Grover."
