[He's still embarrassed, though he doesn't move his hands from where they sat around her waist, holding her close. This felt too good to let her go over something stupid like embarrassment.]

Mean it. I think I can do that.

[He leans in to kiss her, slowly so he doesn't make a complete idiot of himself, and with the concentration he usually only reserves for working on The Fury.]

[She closes the distance between them, scant as it is, just as carefully -- better to follow his lead, go at his pace for now. Her hands, shaking only very slightly, find a place against his shoulders for lack of any other place to be and she keeps the pressure of her mouth against his gentle at first. Just in case he changes his mind.

She hopes he won't, though.]

[He doesn't. In fact, once he's confident he's doing it right, he presses for more. His hands hold her steady and if anything pull her closer.

Does need to breathe eventually though.]

[There's a moment of silence where she tries to sort out an actual sentence, half-laughing when she finally manages to remember how it should go.]

Are you sure you don't remember what you're doing?

[He smirks as he brings one hand up to pull some of her hair behind her ear, his confidence back now that the first kiss hadn't been a disaster.]

I think it's starting to come back to me. Want to try again and try to jog a few more memories?

[That gets a real laugh, moving her hands so she can drape her arms around his neck instead.] I'll see what I can do.

[Having said that, she leans in to kiss him again, albeit a little less careful now that the initial jitters are gone.]

[He chuckles as he dropped his forehead to touch hers, before meeting her half way. It was starting to feel more familiar, whether from previous experience or just because it was Summer, he couldn't tell and thus he got a bit more bold.]

[She doesn't care what it is -- well, she cares, but it doesn't really matter right now; what's important is that she's pressed flush against him, maybe a little too warm and slightly dizzy but definitely pleased with how well this has turned out.

It's a little less exciting when she finally finds herself so off-balance she has to pull away, but it's worth it.]

[After the earlier nerves, Dillon was more then pleased at how this turning out. To the point that he chuckled when she pulled away, his arms tightening around her a bit.]
