Surprise! Either the monster of the week has done something to you or just by random chance, you can walk into other people's dreams. Whether it's full walking and interacting or just observing, that's up to you. The question is, what will you do with the knowledge you've gained by walking through someone else's sub-conscious thoughts?

1. Tag in your pups.
2. Either give a start with what your pup is dreaming about or use the RNG at Random Scenario Meme/Nightmares Meme to come up with a dream. It can be as serious, kinky, fluffy or cracktastic as you wish.
3. Tag other pups to walk in their dreams!

Emi reacts badly to that, so badly that Hiromu's genuinely fearful for a moment. He knows Emi gets upset, of course he does, he's only human for all that he's an avatar too, but he hasn't seen Emi with this loose a grip on reality before.

Well. It's a dream, and maybe the fact that it's a dream will help a little, maybe dream-Emi can at least feel his comfort physically the way avatar-Emi, reality-Emi, can't.

So he slides an arm across Emi's back, gently puts his other hand around him, on Emi's far shoulder, trying to tug him into a hug. "I think you're dreaming," he says quietly. "I wish you had Eti with you all the time. I really do. But he's not, Emi, don't you remember? It's just you, me, Ryuu-san, Youko-chan, Jin-san."

Hiromu puts an arm around Emeric and Emeric stiffens slightly. Certainly he had had the thought before, but not like this. Always with Etienne on Hiromu's other side. Inappropriate, really, their friendship was not yet at that point. But perhaps, in dreams..?

"A dream?" It seems unlikely. Terrible. But it's the only logical explanation, because how else could Hiromu be so confused, so affectionate, so... So many of the things that the Hiromu-kun Emeric knew... Well, not that he didn't have the capacity, but only maybe one day. Not now.

"Is this what I dream of? You holding me, and without Etienne here? That's horrible." He paused. "And impossible. I have never dreamed without Etienne, even before that Christmas..."

Hiromu's words catch up with him slowly and he frowns, counting the names through his mind. "Who is Jin-san?"

Hiromu can't do much beyond being solid for Emi, being patient, explaining until poor Emi's brain catches up and he remembers. He can do all that, at least, and of course he doesn't mind. He'd do anything for Emi. This is -- not fun, because he hates Emi being upset, but it's not hard.

...except Emi stiffens when he's touched, which isn't that amazing really, he's in a human body in this dream and that must be strange for him. Then he mentions Eti in entirely the wrong way, and does not know Jin-san.

Hiromu blinks, and takes another look at Emi.

"Your aibou," he says slowly, but now he's noticing that Emi's clothes are different, wrong. He was vaguely aware of it before, but just thought they were dream clothes... but his own uniform is exactly right down to the last detail, and Emi's is, too, but it's not silver.

"Emi... Emeric. Tell me who the Busters are?"

His aibou? Emeric frowns at the thought of anyone other than Etienne being the only viable option for that word. Hiromu is speaking so carefully, now, as if he expects some outlandish reaction from Emeric, and Emeric it beginning to grow concerned for both of their safety.

If Etienne were here, he and Emeric would exchange a pointed and meaningful glance, perhaps they would touch fingers, and they wouldn't have to do anything more. They would know exactly what to do, exactly how to handle this situation, exactly how to calm Hiromu and remind him of reality, because obviously whatever illusion Emeric is trapped in without his brother, Hiromu is trapped in one even more despicable.

Emi, he says, and Emeric tilts his head. Only Etienne calls him that. Well, his late maman had as well, but otherwise...

"Hiromu-kun," He states softly, but without his brother to confer with he has to do the best he can. He takes a steeling breath, nods once. "There yourself, of course. Sakurada Hiromu, Red Buster. There is Iwasaki Ryuuji-san, Blue Buster. Usami Youko-chan, Yellow Buster. And myself and my brother, Kurosawa Etienne and Emeric, White and Black Busters, respectively." He paused, reached for Hiromu again to put a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Surely you remember."

Emi's not moving right. He looks to Jin-san, certainly, but Hiromu's not used to him moving like *this*, like there should be someone by his side constantly.

Hiromu has a nasty, nasty suspicion, but waits for Emi's words. There's confusion in his eyes, but he does as Hiromu's asked, gives him the answers.

Hiromu exhales unevenly as Emi puts a hand on his shoulder, then grief overwhelms him so strongly that he has to cover his eyes with a hand for a moment.

He wants Etienne. Wants him so badly, to be safe, strong, fighting on their side.

Hand down. Face it. Face Emeric. "In my world," he says hoarsely, knowing it must be true, knowing this Emeric is real beyond the odd reality of dreams, knowing he's not his Emeric, hating it, "in my world it's me, Ryuu-san, Youko-chan. You and Jin-san were stuck in the subdimension but you fight with us, as avatars. And Eti... Etienne... we don't know what happened to him, but Vaglass' main representative looks just like both of you."

Emeric hesitates when Hiromu covers his face. What is it that he has said that could be considered so shocking, so painful? And his voice, when he looks up again, is weak and rough about the edges. This is trouble, Emeric knows it before Hiromu speaks. But he can't stop the words from coming.

It strikes like a blow and Emeric takes a step back again, shuddering. "How? How is this possible? How could we be separated? What do you mean, stuck in the subdimension?"

Hiromu hates doing this. Hates explaining something so awful to Emeric, any Emeric. He keeps thinking he's coping with the situation himself, but... but he's not. He's just pushing down the worry each day so he can do what he has to do.

Is that coping? Maybe it is.

"When my father took the Transport Research Centre into the subdimension, you and Etienne didn't escape in time," Hiromu says. The words are blunt, but his voice trembles on the last phrase.

"C'est impossible." Emeric felt cold down to his bones at Hiromu's words. "Where were Kotako, and Takosawa? Why..." He paused, closing his eyes, considering. "How could I be safe, and my brother not so?"

"I don't know exactly," Hiromu sighs. "Jin-san was with you, and he managed to protect you both. We don't... we don't know what happened to Etienne."

If he's Enter, then he will be saved. Hiromu vows it.

"Excusez-moi, Hiromu-kun, but that is impossible. Why on earth would Etienne and I not be together? Who is this... Jin-san?"

He tries to remember back, thirteen years ago, childhood, before the accident. The Christmas party. But all that comes to mind when he thinks of that night is the cold hilltop, the gaping crevasse.

He doesn't even know the name. Maybe there wasn't a Jin-san in his reality.

Hiromu takes Emi's hand, squeezes gently, because surely at least they're still close in his reality. Surely he can still help in this way, comfort in this way. "You spent a lot of time together, but not every minute. Jin-san is an engineer. I think you were with him because you looked up to him, you were friends. You are, now, too."

"That's all wrong." Emeric says flatly. Despite the momentary distraction of how it feels for Hiromu to hold his hand, squeezing gently, almost as if there is an intimacy there that Emeric is not aware of, but certainly not against...

Still, this other Emeric, this supposed half-Emeric without Etienne at his side, he must be closer to Hiromu, and Emeric wonders if it is precisely because he doesn't have his brother. But then, that could very much minimalism what Hiromu has to offer on his own.

The whole thing is terribly confusing. And frightening.

"Jin-san..." He muses softly, then shakes his head. "I don't understand. Perhaps, perhaps there was someone I've forgotten. But never without Etienne."

Hiromu sighs. "I can understand now why your dream's like this."

He looks around. "All the missing pieces. You don't... you haven't had Eti in my world for thirteen years. You miss him, but not the same way."

Emeric blinks at Hiromu's words, he hadn't noticed the disparity of the half-world, but now he does.

"Oh, mon dieu. This is all wrong. Hiromu-kun, we need to do something."

"Can you wake up?" Hiromu asks baldly, but there's regret on his face. He doesn't want to leave this Emeric, who has his brother, has that support. It's not that he thinks that this Emeric's life is perfect and without stress, but it must be so good to see them together.

"I'm not sure if I can. And that's the simplest solution."

"Je ne sais pas." He responds softly, shuddering. "Etienne and I wake up together. We agree... He is not here..."

He stares at the ground. "Without him... What am I without him?"

Hiromu pauses, wondering again if maybe him waking up will be enough to shake them both out of the dream, but he's concerned that he might leave Emi here alone.

And Emi very desperately needs to not be alone. That much is obvious.

"What if we try to find your bedroom in the dream?" he asks softly. "Emi... you have me, here. And when you wake up you'll have Eti."

Emeric considers Hiromu's offered suggestion, and then, figuring that at least some action is action made and not lost, he nods slowly.

"Oui, perhaps... Well, perhaps Etienne is there."

He pauses after a moment and turns to look at Hiromu more carefully. "Do you always call me Emi?"

"I don't know what help it will be, but at least it's something," Hiromu says. "Perhaps you'll be able to reach the real Eti, if you can find his sleeping self here."

Emi -- Emeric -- turns. Hiromu gulps, flustered by this question as he would be by few others. "I do, yes. Most of the time, anyway. We, um, know each other quite well."

"Indeed. It is something to do." Instead of just standing here, he thinks, panicking and fretting and overwhelmed.

Though the idea of Etienne sleeping while Emeric is not seems... laughable, at absolute best.

Hiromu seems to blush and Emeric turns his eyes away, concerned he has overstepped his bounds. But his words...

"Is that... so?" Quite well, he says, and Emeric's right hand compulsively clutches at the hem of his jacket.

Hiromu looks away for a moment, then meets Emi's -- Emeric's -- eyes again with a pained grin. He's not pained about his relationship with his Emi, is in fact very proud of it, very happy about it, but it seems too much to discuss with this one.

But he's not going to shy away from it.

"Yes," he says quietly. "I... I take it we're not, in your world."

"Non." Emeric admits softly, thoughtfully. Hiromu is grinning, but there is a pinched look about his eyes, as though he feels that this revelation is uncomfortable territory for Emeric. Not... particularly so, but the concern is noted and appreciated.

"Non, I would not say that we are. But... Maybe, we could be, one day. We have only been reunited for not very long, you understand."

Hiromu nods, liking that this Emeric does not dismiss the idea out of hand. "He'd probably like that," he says.

It's obvious. Of course Hiromu thinks the other him would probably like it. But he says it nonetheless, because he wants the other him and this Emeric to be happy.

Hiromu turns, looking for an entrance into EMC, so they can find Etienne. He's hoping that in this dreamworld things are still logical to some extent.

Emeric smiles softly at the thought, then reconsiders. "Perhaps not as readily as you imagine, Hiromu-kun. My brother and I... Well, you understand we are not exactly... typical."

He turns to follow Hiromu's gaze, and starts forward towards a familiar poster that, in theory, hides an entrance to the greater EMC compound.

Hiromu blinks at that. "How do you mean?" he asks, genuinely curious. "I know you're twins."

He wants to know more, yearns to know more, even though it'll hurt. Wants to know how it works for this Emi and this Eti, how they live their life, the happiness they have together.

Also? It gives him some hope that in the future things can work for HIS Etienne and his Emeric. Somehow.
