Not. Again. Can't we just have one week go by without an attack of some kind? Oh, wait a minute, that's not a Zodiart, it looks more like the Liveman suit than anything else. Maybe he's here to fight them? But we have Fourze already so why...

Oh, forget it, I don't suppose it matters who fights the Zodiarts as long as they win. I step into his line of sight with a brief wave. "There's no Zodiart around right now," I tell him. "The suit is kind of redundant."

Had to happen sooner or later :D

"Whatever you think I'm doing, you're incorrect," I say dismissively, head tilting as I try to catch the scent of that *power* that's here.

Riiight. Okay. He's even crankier than Yuusuke at his crankiest.

"Then what are you doing?" I ask, looking him over again and... and okay, maybe I should have paid more attention first time around. I don't like the look of that black jacket-thing he's wearing.

"Investigating," I tell him, then I frown. He's not running. He's also not treating me like a 'normal' person.

"What do you know of this place?"

"Investigating what?" I ask, ignoring the second question. I do not like the sound of that at all and if he's investigating for the wrong reasons I'm not telling him anything.

What does it matter? I don't give information to shady looking people wearing spandex suits.

It's a good thing that Hiromu and I can still pass for reasonably young, High School aged people even if our ages don't technically match. Because between my tendency to fall asleep without warning, and Hiromu's complete unfamiliarity with anything even resembling tact, neither of us could convincingly pass for a teacher.

I'm lucky Takosawa even let me come along on this kind of deep cover mission.

It doesn't take long for Messiah's lieutenant to show himself. The unfortunate part is that Youko and Hiromu are still in their respective classes, and I assume Ryuuji is still stumbling his way through teaching his class, and I'm the only one who's outside right now to face him.

I slip my Brace out of my pocket and onto my wrist, just in case, and start towards him. This will be fine. I'll take care of this, drive him off.

I'll be fine.

I will not black out.

Oh, this one looks familiar.

I stand watching him as he approaches.

I take a steadying breath as I reach shouting distance, settling back into a defensive stance.

"What are you doing here, Vaglass?"

[sonofshiba]

"Investigating. Your presence proves there is something worth investigating, and I thank you."

I draw my sword.

[interpolate]

"Actually, we're here because you are." I point out, but obviously he's not about to listen to me.

I lift my right arm and turn my Brace to Henshin Mode. I can do this.

"Let's Morphin!"

I've never had reason to pit my cables against his, but I have a good feeling about it.

I look wide-eyed at the uniformed figure, gripping my bokken tightly. I don't know what to do, but I know this doesn't look good.

I'm prepared for sparring, not fighting. I think getting away and letting Fourze finish this would be a really, really good idea.

"Tell me what you know," I say calmly, advancing on the child who's obviously terrified.

I wish I had a sword. I really wish I had a sword. A live sword.

That being said, I know more than I should about how to hurt someone, though I don't know how well a bokken's going to do against a supervillain or superhero. Or whatever.

"No." Not that I know much anyway, but I'm not going to let this... whatever do anything.

I sigh. "I find the people here quite tiresome," I inform him. "There is power here. I will find it, with or without your cooperation."

Fortunately, any power my family has is in Sigma's hands.

"That would be... without my cooperation." I'm stalling him for time. I can see Mio running towards us, hands trying to make words, but I can't see what she's saying. For all I know, it's either "Get the hell out of there" or "Sigma is coming soon" or even "It'll impress Kaoru if you attack him".

But I ignore her. I know this one can probably defeat me easily, but I have to keep him occupied. "Mio! My robot!" I call.

She nods, and runs towards the school.
