"How long?" I ask swiftly. I need to leave a message for Sanjou-san and the others, and I can't leave my Mai-chan alone for days.

Part of me wants to keep him forever, even if he is as annoying and foolish and painfully caring as I remember him, but I keep that down.

"Humph." I turn on my heel, hiding the relief that the me in this world has yet to show up. Perhaps he's growing complacent. "You better come, because I'm leaving now." I step into the portal.
