Welcome to the Dinohouse Christmas "meme"! This is going to work a bit differently from most memes, but still free free to do what you want here!

The idea:
Following this post I will be making an assortment of Universe/Location "thread" comments. These will define the specific scene and universe being worked in. Comments by applicable characters will follow under that comment.

Example:
Mushverse; Shiba Mansion; open to Shinkengers

Comments following that would all be set in the Mushverse universe, be by any Shinkengers that want to participate, and take place at the Shiba Mansion Christmas party. Think of it sort of like every "top level" comment is its own post to the community.

Following that example, if your desired AU/Canon/etc isn't there, feel free to make a "thread" for it! Say there's already a Mushverse Go-busters "thread", and you want to do something in Aibouverse, or something more canon, maybe just between two characters? Make one!

Comments following the "thread" headings can be group setting free for all, or between individuals. Say it's a canon GokaiGalleon party, and Gai and Luka want to go off alone, or are on their way to the Galleon together? Their thread can be a separate second level comment thread beneath the main Canon Gokaiger thread.

I know that's a lot of information/qualifiers, but don't let it make you nervous to post, "rules" are fluid, and mainly set for added organization.

It is good to see Marvelous-san smile like that.

I place a quick request with Joe-san for the addition of strawberries to the top of the cake, then move to Marvelous-san's side as we walk.

I tuck a hand through his arm and smile up at him. "Green and red together, hmm?" I tease softly.

Ahim is by my side, and the smile she gives me tells me she's thinking things. Things probably a bit softer than she's letting on. Maybe a bit deeper too. She's as deep and kind as she is brutal in combat.

I allow her to loosen my arms, and tuck a hand into one. Her presence is warm, and welcome.

I snort softly at her words, shaking my head. "Remind me to never lend Gai my ranger key again."

BUTTS IN AS HE IS WONT TO DO

"Remind you what now?" I only caught the first part of that, the last part was drowned out by my, if I do say so myself, rather rousing and charming rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas and a Happy Second Half of the Ranger Season.

Of course, I'm holding a tray of fresh-baked green-and-red cookies, but that doesn't stop me from bumping Marvelous-san with my hip on my way to set them at the table. Then I turn with a flourish and a "Ta-daaah~!" Now, one dish down, approximately a mystery more to go.

I laugh, both at the comment and at the careful, cheerful bump.

"Ah, Gai-san. I see these colours are a theme with you today."

I sigh at Gai's selective hearing, and - almost reluctantly - disengage myself from Ahim so that I can grab six cookies of his tray before he has a chance to set it down.

He earns himself a glare when he bumps me with his hip, but little more than that. I have cookies now.

I sit myself down in my chair, smiling happily as I 'nibble' away.

I take another of the cookies for myself and nod at Ahim, "Oh, yes! They're pretty much the core colors for the season if I do say so myself. Even if we have Silver Bells and White Christmases... It's not really equal-opportunity for rangers, is it?" I pout a little, then shrug, leaning against Ahim for a little.

"Marvelous-san, are you liking it so far? This is... pretty much everyone's first but mine!" I'm honestly really excited for all of them--sharing this with my crew is really important to me. Giving and good will and happiness...

"I believe I should like it were there a holiday with pink and silver as the themed colours," I say mischievously, studying a small round ball covered in what appears to be coconut.

Gai-san leans against me for a moment, making me smile. "Or perhaps not. I am not certain that our suits would blend pleasingly."

I speak with half a cookie still in my mouth. "Also blue Christmases, I heard that song earlier. And most stars I've seen on trees today are yellow. Seems pink's the only one that's left out."

I look at Ahim, trying to catch her eyes, give her a private, but not at all hard to read, look and smile.

"I'd would rather you not make a habit of borrowing everyone's ranger keys for your confusing experiments." I'm talking to Gai, of course, but still looking at Ahim.

"People should not underestimate pink." I sigh with mock bad temper, then smile back at Marvelous-san.

"It was an interesting outfit, Gai-san. I am glad you were not compelled to act as if partly Marvelous-san, partly Hakase-san. That would have been most confusing for you."
